Cyberpunk 2077, the ambitious sci-fi RPG, has impressively crossed the 30 million mark in sales. This exciting milestone was announced by CD Projekt’s CFO, Piotr Nielubowicz, as reported by VGC, during the company’s financial results disclosure for the three-month period ending in September.
In addition to the game’s main success, the Phantom Liberty expansion has delighted fans, selling over eight million copies so far. Meanwhile, Mac users have something to look forward to as Cyberpunk 2077 is set to make its debut on Mac devices shortly. And there’s more for fans of the Cyberpunk universe—another animated project is in the pipeline.
“I have some exciting news straight from Night City,” Nielubowicz shared. “Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 30 million sales, and the Phantom Liberty expansion alone has sold eight million units.”
He emphasized the significance of these numbers, saying, “These figures truly highlight the vast reach of our fan base and the immense interest in the Cyberpunk universe.”
“This is crucial for us,” he added, “especially since we recently revealed plans to bring the game and its expansion to Mac devices equipped with Apple Silicon chips next year.”
To the delight of fans, Nielubowicz also announced, “We’re thrilled to be working on another animation project set in the Cyberpunk universe, slated for release on Netflix.”
