As February approaches, Xbox players need to brace themselves for a wave of server closures. To help you plan your achievement-hunting adventures, we’ve compiled a list of games losing their online support in February 2025.
Xbox Server Closures Scheduled for February 2025
Here are the key dates to keep in mind:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Now, let’s dive into what this means for each game.
Divine Knockout
In October, Hi-Rez Studios announced a restructuring, shifting focus towards Smite 2, which leads to shutting down servers for Divine Knockout and Realm Royale Reforged on February 17, 2025. This means all 19 achievements in Divine Knockout will cease to be available. If you’re aiming for that 1,000G, plan for about eight hours of game time before closure.
Realm Royale Reforged
Next on the list is Realm Royale Reforged, another title caught in Hi-Rez Studios’ restructuring. This online-only battle royale will see its 20 achievements become unattainable after February 17, 2025. If you’re hoping to snag the 1,000G, you’re looking at around 15 hours. Our walkthrough can guide you through the process.
EA Sports UFC 3
After a successful five-year run, EA Sports UFC 3 will see its online services retired on February 17, 2025. Post-closure, 15 achievements will become unavailable, and unlocking some of these could take quite some time. Despite being delisted from the Microsoft Store, the game remains accessible for Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
The PvPvE multiplayer world of Hood: Outlaws and Legends will say farewell to its servers on February 18, 2025. With all 50 achievements tied to online play, you’ll need about 80 hours to complete them before the shutdown. Be aware, the game has been delisted from the Microsoft Store, and it was only available digitally, so current owners are the only ones who can play it now.
Dark Alliance
Dark Alliance will experience server shutdown on February 24, 2025, ending access to its four online-only achievements. Along with the closure, Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast have announced the game’s removal from the Xbox Store on the same date.
The Golf Club
In December, HB Studios and 2K Sports communicated plans to close servers for legacy titles The Golf Club and The Golf Club 2. The first will close on February 28, 2025, making six of its online achievements unobtainable. It’s also been delisted, so you’ll need a physical copy to finish it.
The Golf Club 2
Much like its predecessor, The Golf Club 2 will lose server support on February 28, 2025, knocking out four online achievements. With the digital version gone from the Microsoft Store, look to physical copies if you don’t already own it digitally.
KartRider: Drift
KartRider: Drift, the free-to-play racer from Nexon, will shut its servers on February 28, 2025. Out of its 28 achievements, 22 will disappear post-closure. Sadly, the game has already been pulled from the Xbox Store.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Finally, Disco Dodgeball Remix will lose its online multiplayer support on February 28, 2025. Thankfully, none of the achievements are online-exclusive, so there’s no need to scramble for completion. However, with its removal from the Microsoft Store and no physical copies available, the game will vanish completely.
If you’re keen to unlock all achievements in these games, make sure to act swiftly before they go offline. Happy gaming!
