Ghosts of Tabor’s creators, Combat Waffle, are just about ready to roll out their latest VR shooter, Silent North. This action-packed, multiplayer zombie survival game is aiming for an early access release on Quest and Steam in March.
Partnered with Beyond Frames Entertainment, Silent North transports you to the breathtaking Swiss Alps. However, don’t let the scenery fool you—it’s a world teeming with the undead and equally dangerous human adversaries ready to rob and eliminate anyone who gets in their way. Players will be challenged to either band together or brave the dangers alone, scavenging for gear and fending off an unyielding horde of zombies.
The game is described as being full of PVP and PVE action, a place where encounters with other players or the infected are inevitable. Whether you’re navigating rugged mountains or open plains, you’ll find yourself in heated firefights, either struggling to stay alive or turning the tables on your foes in the wilderness. But be cautious—other players might be lying in wait to ambush you.
Silent North is now available for pre-order on the Horizon Store for $17, giving early birds a 15% discount off the eventual $20 launch price. It’s also live on Steam’s wishlist, promising a similar launch discount. Although the game will initially be available via Steam and the Horizon Store in March’s early access, details about its release on other VR platforms like PSVR 2 and Pico headsets remain under wraps.
As of February 21st, 2024, the studio has confirmed the game is indeed targeting a March release, though the exact date is still up in the air.
