Looking back, we missed a neat find last week with Vs Mystery Tower, the arcade take on the Famicom classic, found in the Archives. Fast forward to this week, and surprisingly, it’s officially been ten years since I settled into my current digs and accepted Neal’s offer to write for NWR. Naturally, I couldn’t help but wonder if this week might bring something epic like a Chrono Trigger re-release or perhaps the preload of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition—alas, that’s slated for Thursday. What about a fun twist on MLB 2025 with the Toronto Blue Jays channeling the 1927 Yankees’ spirit? Unfortunately, that’s set for an early release on Friday, and no, the Jays haven’t cracked it. So, what are we in for instead?
Honestly, nothing in the lineup excites me apart from the promising new adventure title On Your Tail, which, frustratingly, seems to only be hitting Europe, leaving its U.S. release in limbo. There’s also a bunch of comic apps lined up for Japan. Maybe Fate: Reawakened will resonate with those of you still holding out for Silksong.
