Ready or Not, the tactical first-person shooter from Void Interactive, has become a significant success, with over nine million copies sold so far.
The developers revealed these impressive numbers, noting that the game is quickly approaching the ten million sales mark on Steam. Launched initially in early access in 2021, the game officially went live with its full version in December 2023.
Currently, all the sales have been through Steam, but the game is set to expand its reach soon. Void Interactive has announced plans to release Ready or Not for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as on the Epic Games Store.
Julio Rodriguez, CEO of Void Interactive, shared his excitement about this new phase. “We’re thrilled to announce that Ready or Not will be hitting PlayStation and Xbox this summer,” he said. “We’re on the brink of reaching ten million sales on Steam, and we can’t wait to introduce the game to console players around the globe.”
In addition to these announcements, Rodriguez took to LinkedIn to share that the company is not resting on its laurels. They are currently developing several unannounced titles and have significantly grown their team. From just a small group of three or four back in 2017, Void Interactive’s workforce has expanded to over 70 employees, marking a remarkable journey of growth.
