You now have the chance to scale the heights of Mount Olympus in Walkabout Mini Golf. This latest addition marks the game’s 32nd course, arriving after January’s Viva Las Elvis. Studio head Lucas Martell mentions that this course is significantly larger than the earlier colossal course, Temple At Zerzura, introduced in 2023.
Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect:
High above the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea lies the mythical home of gods and goddesses. It’s here that the Olympians gather to decide the fate of mortals—translated into an epic mini-golf adventure. Navigate your way through detailed temples, enchanting landscapes, and tricky obstacles. But be cautious: your abilities may soon be judged by the Olympian Council, determining whether you emerge victorious or incur the deities’ wrath!
As you make the climb up Mount Olympus, you’ll encounter temples and icons representing the major figures of the Greek pantheon, like Zeus, Apollo, and Artemis. We had an exclusive tour with Walkabout mastermind Lucas Martell, and it’s our most extensive yet, offering 28 minutes of behind-the-scenes insights.

I recently sat down with Mighty Coconut’s senior art director, Don Carson, for a detailed chat about the game’s design journey. Carson emphasizes their commitment to “over deliver” by employing a layered design strategy that spans over a year. The team, affectionately known as the Coconuts, is now dozens-strong, ensuring these meticulously crafted courses pass through multiple hands.
Following the success of Elvis, which led to the highest single sales day in the game’s nearly five-year lifespan, the question remains: Will players return to conquer Mount Olympus and continue this upward trend in purchases?
You can play Walkabout Mini Golf on all major VR headsets as well as on iOS.
