Get ready, bridge-building fans! A well-loved engineering puzzle is landing on the Quest platform this week, bringing a host of bridge-building adventures in both virtual and mixed reality for Quest users.
Initially, Bridge Constructor Studio was meant to debut on Quest last week. However, it’s finally set to launch, allowing players to dive into its bridge-building simulation both in VR and through mixed reality on the Quest 3. Sometimes, good things are worth the wait!
Mark your calendars for December 12th, when Bridge Constructor Studio will be ready to challenge you with 70 engaging puzzles in its campaign. Your mission? to get various vehicles from start to finish, using construction materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
This isn’t just another iteration of the classic Bridge Constructor or its rival, Poly Bridge. The XR version doesn’t impose budget constraints or material limits by default, giving you a creative edge. But if you’re up for an extra challenge, you can activate those limits to snag a special award, as the developers suggest.
In addition to its regular campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio comes with a Scenario Creation Mode. This feature lets you unleash your creativity, enabling you to design and play custom bridge-building challenges. You can save up to 40 unique levels to your personal profile.
The masterminds at ClockStone STUDIO, who were behind both the flatscreen and XR version of LEGO Bricktales (2023), are also responsible for this exciting release. Their journey with the Bridge Constructor series began back in 2011, and they continue to wow fans with each new version.
Priced attractively at $10, this game will be exclusively available for Quest 2 and 3 on December 12th. Make sure to visit the Horizon Store to grab your copy and start constructing those dream bridges!
