If you’re still working your way through unlocking all the achievements in EA Sports UFC 3, now’s the time to pick up the pace. EA has officially announced that the servers for EA Sports UFC 3 will be shutting down in February 2025.
According to EA’s online services page, February 17, 2025, marks the last day you’ll be able to access the EA Sports UFC 3 servers. This closure means that any achievements tied to the game’s online multiplayer and Ultimate Team modes will no longer be available after the shutdown.
Among the EA Sports UFC 3 achievements, 15 are designated as online-only. To nab the complete 1,000G from this game, you’ll need to secure these achievements before the mid-February deadline. However, be prepared to invest some time, as these achievements are among the game’s most demanding. Notably, earning the UFC 109: Relentless achievement involves reaching level 150 in Ultimate Team, which can take hundreds of matches. Thankfully, some guides mention a glitch that could simplify this process a bit.
Unfortunately, EA Sports UFC 3 is no longer available on the Microsoft Store, but if you’re a Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play subscriber, you can still play it through your subscription. Also, since the game was released in physical form, hunting down a disc copy is another option if you’re determined to complete those online achievements.
In other somewhat gloomy news regarding server closures, Xbox has scheduled two more shutdowns for December 2024. If there are achievements you’re missing for those games, be sure to secure them before they disappear permanently.
