We’ll have to keep our anticipation in check just a little longer for the new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora achievements, because the release of the “Secrets of the Spires” story pack has been pushed back. Thankfully, it’s just a short delay and the downloadable content (DLC) is now scheduled to arrive on November 28.
Initially expected on November 26, the team behind Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora explained that this brief delay is due to an unexpected last-minute issue. In a recent post on X, the developers shared, “We understand you are excited for this new journey into the Western Frontier and apologize for the delay. Our main focus is to provide a high-quality, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all our players.” You can expect the DLC to start rolling out at 8am UTC / 9am CET / 12am PT on November 28.
Details about the new story pack are still somewhat scarce. What we do know is that players will get to explore a fresh terrain—a mountainous area known as the Spires of the Clouded Forest—where aerial combat will be a key feature. Moreover, this DLC introduces five new achievements which you can unlock by completing quests and acquiring Sky Hunter skills.
It’s a relief to hear the wait won’t be very long, as the “Secrets of the Spires” will be available later this week. Considering the growing list of Xbox games that have been postponed beyond 2024, it’s nice to see this one only faced a minor setback.
