Genshin Impact fans have an exciting journey ahead with “Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls,” the centerpiece event of Version 5.2. This much-anticipated Flagship Event combines a gripping storyline with a variety of fun minigames and intense combat challenges, rewarding players with valuable in-game prizes like characters and weapons upon successful completion.
In the newest update, players were introduced to two new playable characters, Chasca and Ororon, along with the fascinating landscapes of the Flowerfeather Clan and the enigmatic Masters of the Night-Wind. Citlali and Ororon hail from this latter group, and their rising popularity from Version 5.1 made it a clear choice for the developers to position them within the captivating tribe of Mictlan for this flagship narrative.
According to Genshin Impact’s official blog post, “Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls” will run from November 28 to December 16. The event boasts a collaborative minigame, challenging combat scenarios, and brain-teasing puzzles. Completing these will reward players with sought-after items such as Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and the uniquely designed Calamity of Eshu—a 4-star sword with a motif echoing the style of the Masters of the Night-Wind. This sword is expected to be particularly beneficial for sword-wielding characters shielded by a barrier, such as Clorinde or Ayato.
Activities within the event are diverse and engaging. First up is the Search for Lost Spirits, a cooperative minigame where players must strategically guide Roaming Spirits to the Spirithub. The next activity, Evil Banisher, offers combat challenges where achieving objectives unlocks a Banishing Aura, providing a temporary Damage boost around the active character. Lastly, in Restoring Fragmented Records, players will need to correctly assemble visual fragments to progress.
Completing these activities comes with generous rewards, including the Calamity of Eshu with a Base ATK of 565 and an ATK boost of 27.6%. While under Shield protection, players see a 20% boost in Damage dealt by Normal and Charged Attacks, alongside an 8% increase in CRIT Rate for those attacks. Additional rewards include Hero’s Wit, Mora, and Primogems to up your game.
To dive into the Flagship Event, players must have completed the Prologue in Genshin Impact. Yet, for the most fulfilling experience, it’s recommended to tackle “Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls” after finishing Act 4 of the Natlan storyline. While the new sword might not seem tailored for any current Natlan character, keep an eye out for future additions like Iansan, Ifa, or Capitano, who could be an ideal match for this weapon given their potential role as a hypercarry or capability to utilize the Cryo Sword effectively.
