Star Wars fans have plenty to celebrate in 2025, especially collectors on the hunt for exclusive merchandise. During the Star Wars Celebration event, Hasbro unveiled an exciting lineup of new figures, and one of the front-runners stealing the spotlight was Dash Rendar from the Expanded Universe. This move shows Hasbro’s willingness to revisit beloved characters from the Legends timeline, having previously taken on characters like Jaina Solo and others from Knights of the Old Republic. Dash Rendar will join the ranks of the 6-inch Black Series.
For followers of Jedi: Survivor, there’s even more to anticipate. Hasbro plans to release a Nightsister Merrin figure alongside a trio set including Cal Kestis, Turgle, and Skoova Stev, all part of the Black Series as well. Meanwhile, fans of the 3.75-inch Vintage Collection will see new additions like Merrin and a Rocket Launcher Trooper.
Collectors can also look forward to new renditions of Han Solo and Chewbacca, inspired by their appearance in Episode IV. Moreover, Hasbro is launching a Vintage Collection playset, complete with a Tusken Raider and a Bantha.
An exclusive treat emerged during the panel when Hasbro showcased a special Black Series figure: The Ronin and his droid R5-D56 from Star Wars: Visions. This duo comes housed in a deluxe box featuring stunning watercolor art. It’s a rare find, being sold only at the Celebration event, but there’s a chance some might pop up on the Hasbro Pulse website post-event.
As an addition, The Ronin is already up for grabs on Amazon. The majority of these coveted figures are set to hit shelves in Summer 2025, with preorders starting on April 18 at 12 PM PT.
In other Celebration news, fans got a glimpse into Shawn Levy’s anticipated film, Star Wars: Starfighter, and could catch all the updates from The Mandalorian and Grogu panel. It’s truly an exciting time for the Star Wars community, with so much more to look forward to in the galaxy far, far away.
