Recently, whispers have been circulating in the gaming community about the possibility of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 making its way onto the PS5. Known figures in the gaming scene suggested this might be happening soon, sparking hopes that an announcement would surface during the latest State of Play. While the buzz is still mostly just that—buzz—there’s been some additional chatter that might give fans a glimmer of hope about when they could see this anticipated game on Sony’s platform.
### What’s in Store for PS5 Fans in April?
Tom Warren from The Verge stirred the pot further with a recent post on BlueSky, hinting that April might turn out to be an exciting time for PS5 users. He didn’t spill many details, but his message aligns intriguingly with rumors hinting at a possible release of Hellblade 2 during that month.
This builds on earlier comments from insiders Jez Corden and NateTheHate, who both seem confident that a PS5 version of Hellblade 2 is imminent. Corden expected its arrival ‘soon,’ while NateTheHate playfully responded with a picture of Senua and a PS5, suggesting the game is on its way “Soon…. very soon.”
Of course, the term “soon” leaves plenty to the imagination. It could signify anything from a release as imminent as tomorrow to one that’s still several months off. Perhaps April? As it stands, these speculations will keep fans guessing until Ninja Theory is ready to unveil what’s in the works for PS5 fans.
Interestingly, Warren’s post dropped just a day before the State of Play event, leading some to speculate he may have been hinting at something revealed during the showcase. Now that the event is behind us, it did unveil a title landing in April—Days Gone Remastered. It’s another step in Sony’s journey of updating past hits, with Bend Studio’s refreshed game hitting consoles on April 25. Whether or not Hellblade 2 follows remains a topic of eager anticipation.
