It looks like a film version of the newly-released Split Fiction is in the works. According to Variety, the project is being spearheaded by Story Kitchen, who are currently busy lining up a cast, writers, and a director. You might know them from their work on the It Takes Two adaptation with Amazon, as well as upcoming versions of Toejam and Earl, Slime Rancher, and Vampire Survivors.
Hollywood studios are apparently eager to get involved, with offers pouring in from several top players.
Split Fiction made its debut earlier in March and quickly became a hit, selling an impressive one million copies in just 48 hours and reaching the two million mark by the end of its first week.
“We’re absolutely blown away! It’s just incredible,” Hazelight shared on Bluesky after hitting that significant milestone. “A huge thank you to all our fans, both new and returning. We love sharing this excitement with you!”
In other adaptation news, the It Takes Two movie will feature Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, with the writers from Sonic the Hedgehog, Pat Casey and Josh Miller, on board to craft the script.
