Released in March 2023, Resident Evil 4 Remake has won over new players and long-time fans by maintaining the charm of the original while offering a fresh gaming experience. This approach has earned it rave reviews from critics and gamers alike, leading to numerous awards globally and boosting its sales.
Capcom also shared updates on other games in the series. Resident Evil 7 and the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2 have together sold over 15 million units. Meanwhile, Resident Evil Village surpassed 11 million copies, and the 2020 remake of Resident Evil 3 also crossed the 10 million mark.
