Next month, the journey with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will come to an end, at least in terms of new development, as Studio Rocksteady wraps up its work on the game.
In a recent blog update, Rocksteady shared that they’ll stop releasing fresh content after they roll out Season 4 Episode 8 in January. This episode is set to be the last addition to this supervillain adventure.
“Season 4 Episode 8 will conclude the final showdown against Brainiac,” the team at Rocksteady stated. Even after the final update, players can still access all the online features. This means you can continue teaming up with friends for co-op gameplay and revisit earlier episodes and seasonal content. Plus, there’s the added convenience of a new Offline mode. This allows players to dive into the main story and all the post-launch content without needing to be connected to the internet.
When Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League first hit the shelves in January, it met with a mix of reviews and didn’t quite hit the sales targets Warner Bros had hoped for. Despite the challenges, the studio has decided to keep the game accessible for players who continue to enjoy its chaotic charm.
