Silent North has hit the scene, bringing its sandbox survival action from Combat Waffle, the team behind Ghosts of Tabor. This new adventure is now accessible in early access for those on Quest and PC VR headsets.
The game offers an experience reminiscent of Rust’s open-world survival, where the possibilities are nearly endless. Players can form alliances, betray newfound friends, or simply lose themselves in the vast environment that lives and breathes around them.
Scott Albright, the brain behind Combat Waffle Studios, shared some insights, differentiating this creation from their previous work. “Ghosts of Tabor was all about intense raids and tactical skirmishes,” he explained. “Our aim with Silent North is to bring the VR community something that truly immerses players in the survival genre, polishing elements that aren’t always highlighted.”
Expect typical challenges of survival games alongside environmental dangers, pesky zombies, and other players vying to outlast one another. This early version, referred to as “alpha Early Access,” is now available on the Horizon Store for those on Quest 2 and higher, as well as on Steam for PC VR users, all for around $20.
