Get ready for another exciting installment of the VR Games Showcase arriving this March. The organizers are promising their “largest lineup yet” of XR games, and anticipation is building.
While we don’t have all the details just yet—especially the exact date of this online event—organizers have teased us with a post on X, hinting that more updates are on the way soon.
In line with past VR Games Showcases, we anticipate a sneak peek into the lineup of participating studios, which should give us some clues about the games that will be featured. Expect a strong focus on Quest games, alongside PSVR 2 and PC VR titles.
Reflecting on last year’s event, it was packed with exciting game announcements and updates. We saw gameplay reveals for titles like HITMAN III: Reloaded, a remake of Vertigo Games’ Arizona Sunshine, Fast Travel Games’ Action Hero, and gameplay trailers for GRIM—a survival game reminiscent of Rust. Overall, announcements came from seven different studios, unveiling more than 15 titles.
Following that, the livestreamed event hosted an ‘XR Indies and Friends’ showcase about a month later. It offered fresh insights into Innerspace VR’s One True Path, gameplay from Cyborn’s mixed reality adventure Wall Town Wonders, a trailer for the VR adaptation of Ovid Works’ Kafkaesque Metamorphosis, and footage from Just Add Water’s DIG VR, an arcade digging simulator.
As we gear up for March, we’ll keep you posted on any developments by following the VR Games Showcase YouTube channel, where the event will be streamed live. Stay tuned for what promises to be another thrilling event for VR and gaming enthusiasts alike.
