Worlds Untold, a Canadian game developer, has decided to hit the pause button on its operations for a while. This news surfaced through a LinkedIn update where the team shared they are actively searching for a new partner. Worlds Untold was founded in November 2023, helmed by Mac Walters, a seasoned expert from BioWare. Initially, they had the backing of the huge Chinese gaming company, NetEase. We’re looking to get some clarity on the current status of this partnership with NetEase.
In their LinkedIn post, the Worlds Untold team expressed, “Such a decision wasn’t taken lightly. The journey has been very personal for all of us, and we are immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team.”
