The list of nominees for the upcoming 28th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards has been announced, offering a snapshot of the gaming industry’s vibrant landscape. Organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), this prestigious event is set to celebrate outstanding achievements from various corners of gaming development.
This year, Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames’ "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" shares the spotlight with PlayStation’s "Astro Bot" and "Helldivers 2" as the most nominated games, each securing six nods. All three are also in the running for the coveted Game of the Year title.
Close on their heels are "Balatro" by Localthunk and Playstack, and "Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2" from Xbox Game Studios and Ninja Theory, both snagging five nominations. Impressively, Xbox and PlayStation each garnered 15 nominations for their various projects.
The big reveal—where the winners will be crowned—will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET. Returning hosts Greg Miller from Kinda Funny Games and media star Stella Chung are set to guide us through the evening in what promises to be yet another engaging ceremony.
